You Wish You Were Our Paparazzi!

Every few months, Blake and I make a trip North to Norman to see our wonderful college friends! This past weekend we made the trip to see all of our friends and attend Anne and Ryan's (Below: Tim and Faith) "You Wish You Were Our Paparazzi!" party! The weekend started out with an amazing lunch with Anne and Ryan on the patio at The Mont, a classic hangout in Norman. Saturday evening everyone came over for a cookout! We had a blast!!! It was so great to see everyone! Nothing is better than spending time with great friends and laughing our heads off, as usual! The girls finished up the weekend with brunch and cupcakes, and then Blake and I spent a little time with my brother, Jason, walking around Campus Corner!

Our New Puppy, Archer!!!

On March 12th, we adopted Archer! He is a sweet 18-month old Cocker Spaniel, that we found on the DFW Cocker Spaniel Rescue website. Archer has been an amazing addition to our little family and we are so lucky to have adopted such a wonderful dog!

Archer was found in Terrell, Texas and spent a couple of weeks in the Terrell Animal Shelter (a kill shelter). Fortunately, a sweet lady, named Frances saw an article about Archer in the Terrell paper and decided to save him from the animal shelter and be his foster mom. He spent three weeks with Frances before we found him on the DFWCSR website! We met Frances and Archer at a Petsmart in Dallas and we immediately fell in love! Within one week of first meeting Archer, he was ours and he fits right in!!!

I know the question on everyone's mind is "How is Tukker doing with a new dog?" Blake and I are both amazed at how accepting Tukker has been with his new brother. It has been almost an entire month and we have only encountered one little fight! Tukker and Archer follow each other around the house and enjoy going on walks together, but their favorite part of the day is snuggling both of us after work!

Arch is such a good boy! He has already learned to go get in his crate all by himself while I finish getting ready for work!


Believe it or not, this is Archer and Tukker snuggling me three days after we adopted Arch! I bet you never thought you would see Tukker let any dog get this close to him!
