Christmas with The Burrus Family
We spent Christmas night at Uncle David & Aunt Susie's house in Sherman. We had a great night with the Burrus', the Glover's, and Papa & Betty
Christmas Morning at My Parents' House
We always spend Christmas morning at my parents' house for Santa, presents, and breakfast!

It is our Christmas tradition to make Monkey Bread for breakfast...delicious (I snuck a few pieces, even though I am Gluten free...it was worth it)

Christmas Eve with The Thorndikes
We only snapped two pictures on Christmas Eve with Blake's parents, but they are super cute!
Christmas Treats
Here are a few of the holiday treats I made this year...

Cherry Pie
Chocolate Pie
Sweet Potatoes
Christmas with The Smyers Family!
The Sunday before Christmas, we went to Grand Praire to celebrate Christmas with Uncle Brian, Angela, Dana, and Greg. We had a really great time!

Work Christmas Parties
My work Christmas party is always a lunch on campus, since we have approximately 3,000 employees working just at our site. Every year they have a gingerbread house contest (HR does not participate, since the competition would be a bunch of engineers, it is better for us to just sit this one out!) Here are the top 3 contenders from this year's Christmas lunch.
Blake's work rented out Six Flags Over Texas for their Christmas party. I took off a little early and we went down to Six Flags for the evening. We saw one of their cute Christmas shows that they have in the park, and we rode a few mild rollercoasters. We spent most of our time walking around and drinking the amazing hot chocolate they had there! It was definitely a different and exciting Christmas party!
Happy Birthday Dad!
My dad came back in town just a few days after his birthday! Uncle David, Aunt Susie, Mom and Dad went to Babe's to celebrate and they made him do the chicken dance with a chicken on his head!
(Not a great pic of the event, but still blog worthy)

Tree Topper
So...I wanted to get a picture of both of the boys under the Christmas tree. I quickly figured out that the picture would be impossible with our very obedient dogs...
I decided I would just bring a few gifts to Archer's bed and see if I could take some pictures of him. This is Archer saying, "Mom, I do not care how many pictures you take of me, as long as I can lay on my bed and destroy this tennis ball."This is the best picture I could get of Tukker...looking less than amused.
Here is Archer's attempt...running at the speed of light away from the tree.
Once I finally gave up, Tukker decided he was finally interested in the tree and he thought he would take a look around.
Jason's New Addition to the Family
Meet Miley!
Jason brought Miley home at the beginning of December, and besides her puppy personality (aka biting), she is a really sweet dog. Sugar, my cocker spaniel that lives at my parents house, is less than thrilled about the new addition. Sugar does not think she is a dog herself, so she is quite upset about this new annoying little thing that is chasing her around the house ;)
She is pretty cute!
A Christmas Carol
One of our Christmas traditions is to go see A Christmas Carol at the Kalita Humphreys Theater in Turtle Creek. It is a small, cozy theater downtown where you can enjoy hot chocolate and cuddle up under blankets while viewing the show. It is definitely one of my favorite holiday traditions!
